Description
This book deals with the theory of phase transitions in disordered magnetic systems in the presence of random fields. By considering the mean-field theory, it discuss the effects of continuous-field probability distributions in the phase diagrams of ferromagnetic systems and spin glasses. In some cases, tricritical points appear in these systems. Some of the presented results can be qualitatively applied to real systems.
